ANIM is featured in The New York Times profile of Carnegie Hall’s World Orchestra Week, which included more than 700 student musicians from 38 countries, including China, Nigeria, Germany, Afghanistan, Israel, Ukraine and the United States. The Afghan Youth Orchestra performed at Carnegie Hall as part of the inaugural WOW festival on August 7 and at the Kennedy Center on August 8.
